How to Uninstall and Reinstall you Modem

• Double click on the "My Computer" icon.
• Double click on the "Control Panel" icon.
• Double click on the "Modems" icon.
• Select the modem and click on the "Remove" button.
• Click on "OK".
• Reboot the machine.
• Once you reboot the computer should detect the modem during the booting process.
• During this portion the computer may ask for the CD for the modem to install the proper drivers for the modem.
• If it prompts you fro the CD insert it into the CD ROM.
• Double click on the "My Computer" icon.
• Double click on the "Control Panel" icon.
• Double click on the "Modems" icon.
• Check to see if the proper modem was detected. It should show up in the list of modems installed.
• If the modem was not detected, click on the "Add" button.
• In the "Install New Modem" Window click on "Next".
• Let the computer try to detect the modem.
• If the computer is unable to detect them modem select it from a list.
• You will need the modem CD at this point.
• Continue through the Modem Install Wizard.
