MacTCP or TCP/IP preferences are corrupt - Fix for MacTCP
- Select LocalTalk in MacTCP
- Restart the Mac and Zap the PRAM
- From the Main Menu select Special then Restart
- While the system is restarting hold down
<Apple> + <Option> + <P> + <R> simultaneously
- Hold the keys down until the system "Chimes" three times.
- Release the keys and let the system startup.
- * DO NOT ZAP THE PRAM ON ANY POWERBOOK SYSTEM!!!
